Biography
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, with a background from Punjab, music has been
one of his biggest passions in life. Mr. Bolly, also known as Bharat Kapoor. is
a naturally talented singer/song writer/co-producer/ who has been writing songs
from a very young age of 16. While growing up in a tough environment on the streets
of Montreal, with various influences from different ethnic cultures, music allows
him to put his thoughts and feelings in words to express himself in the songs he
composes. Artists who have highly influenced him are RDB,Rishi Rich,puffy,2 Pac,
Biggie, Nas and Wu Tang Clan. Being brought up in a mix of eastern western cultures,
he decided to blend his music the same way giving the North American urban scene
a touch of Bollywood with his own unique style.
Past
Mr. Bolly has now been recognized by his fans and is working with several local
artists from Montreal like Sunny Raja as well as Cash Rulez from Up North Records.
One of his biggest projects at the moment is working with “Deevani”
from Mass Flow. (Who is from the Daddy Yankee Mira Me fame) Together, they have
created their hit single called “Bin Tere Sanam.”
They are currently mixing and mastering a new single, which will be titled –
“Bollyhood se pyar”
Mr. Bolly has also released his EP “King of India” in Feb 2009 which
included a variety of hit tracks like “Maan Tere Maan, Hasana, and I love
my
India,” including his ever popular “Johnny Panni”,
Future
Mr. Bolly has officially been in the North American music industry for the past
two years. As a result of having immense support and feedback, he is now in the
process of successfully completing his forthcoming album and videos, which are soon
to be released at the end of the 3rd quarter of the year in 2010. (read less) A
